Hi! been a long time I haven't post anything. Well, I can't hold it anymore. I am being honest here that I really miss to write something. Something that can made my day, something interesting, something that can make me forget about "the well or unwell life" or about "the dreams that seems to be stuck". Oh, well. Let's forget about it, at least for a while.
Well, for today only, I am allowing myself to make an excuse of why I don't write often.
I have been busy here and there, learning a lot of something new, facing a new phase of life : Married life. And, I am still learning on how to get used to a new circumtance from a career woman to a full-time housewife. (Or maybe it is time for me to start a new degree for my study (?)).
Oh, I forgot. I haven't told you about me getting married, eh? okay, here's the story.
Me and A Riki, we're getting married on March, 28 where the Covid-19 pandemic was starting to spread to Indonesia (I hope that this pandemic will end very soon). As the concequence, to minimalize the spread of the virus, we couldn't held wedding reception. Only few people were attending our wedding ceremony (close family only) and of course, we were wearing face mask and also providing alcohol-based handsanitizer as one of the requirements to held the wedding ceremony.
It sounds pathetic in the very beginning because people tend to give their sympathy when they heard about our wedding condition. I was quite uncomfortable hearing them because really, we weren't felt that way because what's most important for us was the marriage itself, not the the wedding celebration.
It was a modest wedding ceremony, not in a cafe that we already planned before but it was totally awesome. We have a memorable marriage story to tell to our future children.
Okay, enough for the story. Now, considering that I'd created this blog since 2012 (woah 8 years already!), and now I can tell that you can see the different pattern of my writing concern in each year regarding me getting older and older (can you see the difference? hehe). So.... again, I want to try my best to commit to write everything that across my mind in this beloved blog of mine.
Please enjoy and Happy eid mubarak to everyone celebrating!, stay safe! :).
Warm regards from Jakarta,
Larasati Amaranggana.
